Housing Inventory

The City of Marshfield and the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG) are conducting an inventory of housing types and conditions in the city. Staff from SMCOG will be driving and walking through the city noting the location, type, and condition of residential dwellings. This work is part of the City’s GRO Marshfield project, an effort to improve the quality of life in Marshfield. FROM: Randall Williams, MD ACTING DIRECTOR SUBJECT: Update 2: Mumps Outbreak in Missouri On November 18, 2016, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) released a Health Advisory entitled “Mumps Cases in Central Missouri.” The purpose of this Advisory was to alert health care providers of the outbreak of mumps among Missouri college students, to provide guidance on clinical and laboratory diagnosis, and to provide guidance on measures to control infection transmission. Over the past few years the City of Marshfield has undertaken a study of the City’s water system.
