The City of Marshfield, MO is accepting applications for the full-time position of Wastewater Assistant Chief Operator.  This position reports to the Wastewater Chief Operator.  This position is responsible for assisting the Wastewater Chief Operator in overseeing all operations at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Preferred qualifications: knowledge and experience with Wastewater Treatment plants, maintenance, budgeting, future growth and planning, accounting, purchasing, coordination, reports, communications, scheduling, training, human resource management, safety programs, affirmative action and knowledge of laws and regulations dealing with wastewater policies and procedures. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate being a self-starter with strong organization, customer service, time management, and team building skills. They should have knowledge of budget processes and be able to successfully communicate, both verbally and written, with the general public, the Board of Aldermen, and subordinates in the day-to-day duties of this position.

Candidates are preferred to have 5 years Wastewater Treatment Experience and hold a Missouri Class A Wastewater Treatment License (a class B will be considered, but a Class A must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment).

Salary will depend on education and experience. Benefits include LAGERS retirement, Medical and Life Insurance, vacation and sick leave.
