NEW EXECUTIVE ORDER 3/26/20 "Stay at home"

In a Special Emergency Meeting of the Marshfield Board of Aldermen, action was taken to reaffirm the current state of civil emergency within the city limits of Marshfield.  Additionally, the board approved an upgrade of the current restrictions inside the city limits of Marshfield due to the need to slow the spread of COVID-19, authorizing the Mayor to issue this “Stay At Home” order similar to the action taken earlier in the day by the Webster County Commissioners.

Municipal Court COVID-19 Notice

Things to know while the court is closed due to the COVID-19 concerns.

· Most questions can be addressed through e-mail to the clerk at , or by calling the temporary line (417) 830-6949 Mon/Wed/Fri from 8-4:30

 · The clerk is available to accept payments and assist you with any questions you may have at the City Hall Building, drive up window during the following hours.

  Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

 · If you have not pled your case out, you will be rescheduled for a future date. You will be notified by mail, or you can check for updates on Casenet. https://www.courts.mo.gov/casenet/base/welcome.do

 · You may still plead out most cases and pay any applicable fines through the court clerk.

 · You cannot pay your fine online if you have not plead out your case.

 · If you have pled out your case and are on a payment plan, you are still required to make your payments monthly through the court clerk, or by paying online through Casenet. If you are unable to pay, contact the Court Clerk for guidance.

 · If you make an online payment, please contact the court clerk so your case can be updated. https://www.courts.mo.gov/casenet/base/welcome.do

Assistant Waste Water Plant Operator

The City of Marshfield is currently accepting applications for full time employment for the day to day operations and maintenance of the City of Marshfield Wastewater Treatment Plant. This position is not limited to the Treatment Plant, opportunities may include training and experience in the Water, Street, and Cemetery Departments within the City of Marshfield. Interchange construction updates

Marshfield I-44 Interchange Project at MM 103
Update for Week of December 30

  • No work planned from noon on New Year’s Eve until 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, during the New Year’s holiday.

Work Scheduled:  

  • Hauling rock and dirt to build areas on north side of I-44
  • Relocating utility lines in various locations
  • Clearing trees and brush in various locations

Traffic Impacts:  

  • ROAD CLOSED: Brinkley Road (I-44 north outer road) CLOSED east of Webster County Route W
    • Signed detour: Webster County Route W, Vinyard Road and Rusty Road
    • Brinkley Road closed until fall 2020
  • No other traffic impacts expected

 (Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.)
Project Summary:

  • Build a new bridge to take  Webster County Route CC over I-44 at Mile Marker 103
  • Relocate Webster County Route CC at Rifle Range Road to intersect with I-44
  • Build interchange ramps so drivers safely exit and enter I-44 at Webster County Route CC
  • Build roundabouts at either end of interchange to connect with Brinkley Road/I-44 outer road on the west and Marshall Road/Route CC on the east
  • Route CC between Rifle Range Road and Route 38 in Marshfield turned over to the city of Marshfield after completion of interchange project
  • Prime Contractor: H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC of Van Buren
  • Completion Date: June 2021. However, the interchange will be open to traffic by December 31, 2020.
  • Total Project Cost: $16.4 million

Annual Water Quality Report

The City of Marshfield is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of landscape plantings and materials as well as installation within the curb bump outs around the downtown square.  A full list of plantings and materials to be purchased and installed are provided in the link below or may be obtained at Marshfield City Hall, 798 S. Marshall Street, Marshfield, MO 65706. Bids must be sealed and submitted on or before Monday, May 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.  Sealed bids will be opened at Marshfield City Hall on May 22, 2017 at 10:05 a.m.  Bids are anticipated to be presented to the Board of Aldermen at their regular scheduled meeting on May 25, 2017 for consideration, approval or rejection.
