RFQ-City Hall Remodel and Other

Request for Qualification

The City of Marshfield is requesting sealed qualifications from architects, engineers, and/or firms to provide Construction Documents and Specifications including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Documents for the CITY HALL REMODEL PROJECT AND FUTURE CITY PROJECTS. Programming, Schematic Design, and Design Development, will not be a part of this work. Cost Estimating, Bidding and Negotiation, and Project Administration could be included as needed. The City of Marshfield staff contact is Steve Deckard, Planning Administrator & Project Manager who also holds an Architects License with the State of Missouri.

Request for Qualifications must be received by the City Clerk of Marshfield, at City Hall, located at 798 S. Marshall Street, in Marshfield Missouri by 3:00 PM local time on Wednesday January 4, 2023. Request may be submitted by mail, common carrier, or delivered in person. Faxed or emailed request for qualifications will not be accepted. All Request for Qualifications must be received prior to the date and time specified.
The City of Marshfield reserves the right to reject any and all requests for qualifications and to waive any technicalities.

Public Asked to Provide Input on Marshfield’s Future

The City of Marshfield and the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG; pronounced: ‘sim-cog’) are excited to present the 2022 update of the Marshfield Transportation Plan for public input. The transportation plan has served as a continuous source of guidance for the city regarding the transportation network and investments since it was last developed in 2009. Moving forward, the Plan will serve as a guide for decision-making and policy implementation that will improve mobility for residents and visitors of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

The public may access a draft version of the document beginning on Monday, October 24, 2022, through Monday, November 7, 2022, as a digital version on the city’s website or as a print version at the Marshfield City Hall during business hours. Public comments may be submitted to the SMCOG Project Manager, Aishwarya Shrestha, at or at (417) 836-6901.

The Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG) is a Regional Planning Commission and an association of local governments in a ten-county area of southwest Missouri. SMCOG serves Barry, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Greene, Lawrence, Polk, Stone, Taney, and Webster counties. SMCOG is one of 19 active regional planning organizations throughout Missouri.

Mowing Bid Notice

The City of Marshfield is accepting sealed bids for mowing services for City Parks and other City Properties. A full list of City of Marshfield Properties and bid specifications must be obtained at Marshfield City Hall, 798 S. Marshall, Marshfield Mo., 65706. Bids must be sealed and turned in on or before November 10th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  Bids will be presented to the Board of Aldermen at a Board of Aldermen meeting for consideration, approval or rejection.

 

The City of Marshfield reserves the right to waive any formalities or reject any or all bids

N. Marshall Road work

Here is a map of the area that will be affected by the N. Marshall road work. Work will begin September 12th and last approx. 1 month.
The whole section from Hubble Dr. to the new Round-a-bout will have lane closures at different times. The section between Crestwood Dr. & Hillsboro Dr. will be completely closed most of the time. Plan to use alternate detour routes!
Please have patience with City crews as they work to make improvements to this road!

Request for Proposal-Patriot Park Sign

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The City of Marshfield, Missouri (City) is accepting sealed bids for the construction of the Dr. Tommy Macdonnell Aquatic Center sign to be constructed in Patriot Park located at 1490 North Elm Street in Marshfield.

SCOPE OF WORK

The City of Marshfield desires to enter into an agreement with a contractor (Contractor) for the construction of the free-standing cut stone and block sign with LED strip lighting along the front. Stone is provided by owner.

BID OPENING and AWARD

All bids, whether mailed or hand delivered, must be received in the office of the Marshfield City Clerk at the above address by 2:00 p.m. July 29, 2022.  Bids will be opened at a later date and presented at a regular scheduled Board of Aldermen meeting.

MARKING AND MAILING OF PROPOSALS

All proposals shall be sealed in an opaque envelope that is clearly marked on the outside with “Patriot Park Pool Sign” and addressed to:

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

The contractor shall provide insurance in the minimum amounts as shown below for each vehicle and/or employee used in the work covered by this agreement.  Such insurance shall be maintained during the term of the agreement.  The City of Marshfield, Missouri shall be listed as additional insured on the policies though the contractor will agree to indemnify the City for any liability which is alleged as the result of negligence or failure of performance on the part of the Contractor.

  • General Liability - $ 1,000,000 per occurrence and $ 2,000,000 general aggregate
  • Automobile Liability - $ 1,000,000 combined single limit
  • Excess Liability - $ 1,000,000 each occurrence
  • Worker’s Compensation - $ 1,000,000
