Hours, Fees, & Season Passes


The Dr. Tommy Macdonnell Aquatic Center is set to open for the 2023 season on Saturday, May 27th and will be open till Labor Day.

*Children 10 years of age and under must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult.

Open Swim Hours

  • Monday-Saturday  12pm-6pm
  • Sunday                     1pm-6pm

Night Swim Hours

Starting June 3rd

  • Monday, Friday, and Saturday 6pm-10pm

Tot Swim Hours

Tot swim is open from 10:30am to 12pm on the dates listed. Click here for more details.

  • Memorial Day: 12pm-6pm

  • Back to school hours: Saturday and Sunday only starting August 21st

Daily Admission Fees

Daily Pass: $5 a person

Senior Pass (60+): $3 a person

Ages 2 and under: Free

Active military member: Free, with proof of ID

Please note all card purchases are subject to the following fees.

  • $0-$50 Fee: $1.25
  • $50.01-$75.00 Fee: $1.75
  • $75.01-$100.00 Fee: $2.15
  • $100.01 and up Fee: 2.15%


Season Passes

Individual: $50

Family: $170 (up to 5 family members living in the same household address)

Where to buy passes

  • In person at the Parks Department, 798 S. Marshall St. Located on the east side of City Hall
  • At the Dr. Tommy Macdonnell Aquatics Center, 1490 N. Elm St., starting May 27th. Buy your passes at the pool and get your picture taken.

Where to pick up passes
Completed passes can be picked up at the Parks Department until 5/26/23.

  • Bought at the pool or online you will pick up your passes at the pool.
  • Bought in the Marshfield Parks Department, you will walk out with passes that day.

Weather information

Weather Policy

The Parks Department may close the pool, delay opening, or open late due to inclement weather and/or thunder and lightning.  Notification will be made on Facebook. This notification will include when the pool will be closed and if the closure will effect aquatic programs for that day.
